Well, looking back at the last post, we are about 9 months over due for a update. Sitting in my office waiting for a 630 meeting. And I need to make some time fly.
Ellie, yeah the one that was last seen at 3 months, well she is not almost 14 months. That is almost a whole year. WOW! As most of you know she is mobile now, she has a set of chicklets (teeth for those who are confused), she is talking, she is yelling and she thinks that she is the smartest baby alive. Very vocal that little girl is. I thought it was too early for tempers to be thrown. Again, learning as we go. Pretty soon we will be looking at some potty training. YES! I do not care how long it takes, we are going to get rid of those diapers if it kills me.
Ellie has starting kissing everyone. Cousin Owen gets the brunt of it when he comes and visists. The cat seems to spend a considerable amount of time in the basement, now that Ellie has been kissing (and pulling tails). Yes...she eve likes to kiss the cat.
What other new and crazy things has she been up to...She has been sleeping well. Every since we let her cry two nights in a row, she has slept through the night. it was torture the first night but we made it. Not saying it will work for every baby, but when all else fails, try it.
In other farm news, not much has changed. I am still working and working more than I should (according to Stacy). Being part owner you begin realize that there is much more on the line than just coming to work 7am to 5pm. Work is good though. We have had a good year. We have acquired two businesses this year. One landscape company and one tree service company. More work....
Stacy is doing well. She loves here job. She hates how politics play such a vitale role in her business though. However she still wants to get more involved into the politics. That is why I (and most guys) will never udnerstand women. If I do not like something, I normally try to stay as far away as possible.
The dogs are great. They are terrorizing all the local rodents around the farm. When you see Stacy ask her abou the last ground hog victim. We now have two horses in teh adjacent field. YEAH! The cat seems to defy death more and more each day.
Other than that, jsut trying to stay sane, like the rest of us.
